Ten years ago, a group of long-standing friends began discussions about creating a community where we could experience progressive living together. As baby-boomers living in Silicon Valley, we were dismayed by the realization that there were no ideal housing options available to us in which our life choices would be nurtured as we approached our second fifty years.

The thirteen focus groups we held brought together more than three hundred and fifty enthusiastic people, each vastly interested in a similar community. We started meeting with potential project developers, and, when we met with RainbowVision, we knew our dream could be realized.
